Our warranty does not cover the following:

• Normal signs of rust or wear
• Breakage or damage due to improper use
• Knives with after-market modifications
• Lack of or improper maintenance
• Lost or damaged hardware
• Blades that have been swapped
• Damage from modifications to the knife
• Knives that have been heat anodized

When sending an item for warranty work, please include a note inside your package with the following information:

• Full name
• Return shipping address
• Email address
• Phone number including area code
• Full description of the problem

If we find that the issue with your product is not covered under warranty, we will contact you with a quote prior to performing any repair work.

DETENTS: Curtiss Custom Knives LLC folding knives are made to exacting specifications, including detents. We do not modify detents, and being unable to “flick” your McNees folding knife open is not covered under our warranty. 

BLADES: The blade on your Curtiss Custom Knives LLC folding knife has been hand-fit with the handle to ensure optimal performance. For that reason, you should not swap blades from one folding knife to another.
